Bob Dylan, Martin Lawrence, Styx and Don Felder Perform in Las Vegas
Looking for something to do in Las Vegas? Tickets for three great shows with a comedian and three great rock legends go on sale on Friday, Aug. 26. Comedian Martin Lawrence and folk singer Bob Dylan bring shows to the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in October, while Styx and Don Felder announce a January residency at the Venetian.
Folk singer Bob Dylan heads to the Cosmopolitan on Thursday, Oct. 13, with tickets starting at $49. The legendary singer and songwriter is one of most influential musicians rock ‘n’ roll has ever seen. For the past 50 years, Dylan has pumped out some of the greatest music of his career including “Time Out of Mind” in 1997 and “Modern Times” in 2006. Showing no signs of slowing down, Dylan has continued to tour in recent years, while releasing recent studio albums including “Together Through Life” in 2009 and “Tempest” in 2012.
Martin Lawrence performs on Friday, Oct. 7, with tickets starting at $45. The comedian rose to fame for his work on his own series, “Martin,” which aired on FOX for the next five years. He appeared in films including “Big Momma’s House,” “Bad Boys” and “Blue Streak.” His Doin’ Time: Uncut Live tour is his first stand-up tour in four years, coordinated with his Showtime special airing on Friday, Sept. 9, at 9 p.m. EDT/PDT.
Rock legends Styx with very special guest star Don Felder, formerly of the Eagles, bring a five-night limited engagement at the Venetian Theatre inside the Venetian Jan. 6, 7, 11, 13 and 14, 2017. Styx created an exclusive set list and brand new stage production. Don Felder is also working on some exciting plans of his own for the residency. The multi-show run will pay tribute to both Styx and Don Felder’s combined 45-plus years as one of the most successful rock and roll bands in history and one of rock’s most illustrious guitar legends.
