Roadies Star Keisha Castle-Hughes Shares Her Haute Secrets to LA
At just thirteen years old, Keisha Castle-Hughes became the youngest person nominated for an Academy Award in the category of “Best Actress” for her break-through performance as ‘Paikea’ in Niki Caro’s 2002 film Whale Rider. Now 26, the Australian-born, now-Kiwi citizen is on two of the hottest shows in Tinseltown—HBO’s Game of Thrones as well as Cameron Crowe’s new Showtime series, Roadies, alongside Luke Wilson, Carla Gugino and Imogen Poots. The show, which premiered on June 26, chronicles the rock world through the eyes of music’s unsung heroes and puts the spotlight on the backstage workers who put the show on the road while touring the Unites States for a successful arena-level band. She has also recently completed production on the Dreamworks feature film Thank You For Your Service opposite Miles Teller, Haley Bennett and Amy Schumer. Here, this groundbreaking young actress shares her insider’s guide to the City of Angels.
