de Grisogono Takes Cannes with Kim Kardashian and Harvey Weinstein

The annual de GRISOGONO private dinner party had some of the best celebrity spotting at Cannes Film Festival this year. Never mind that swanky party actually took place in the neighboring town of Antibes at Hotel Du Cap – Eden Roc. The event still was considered the best party during the festival, which served as much to celebrate the Follies Collection as it was to show the pull of the luxurious brand known for popularizing the black diamond.

Kim Kardashian enjoyed her first-ever Cannes Film Festival appearance. Her arrival at the event, with de GRISGONO founder / creative director Fawaz Gruosi and mom-ager Kris Jenner, caused a 1-hour red carpet gridlock.

The reality phenomenon was laced in more than 5 million dollars’ worth of de GRISOGONO jewels and a sparking gown, the only thing missing was her hubby Kanye West, who had been expected to attend.

Fawaz debuted his newest find, a 404-carat white diamond at which Kim said, “Wow, I thought I had seen it all” as she held it in her hand.

Late to the party was Kim’s former bestie, Paris Hilton, who made a big entrance. In case you’re wondering, yes, she chatted with Kardashian-West, although she did not linger.

There was a fashion show, a Russian dance crew that performed a “costume-filled variety show” with songs from Whitney Houston and Madonna, a performance by 70s legends, Earth, Wind & Fire, as well as celebs in every direction. Famous faces included Adrien Brody, It-girl and DJ Mia Moretti, Robert DiNiro, Chris Tucker , Bella Hadid in Givenchy Couture dripping in diamonds,  a very slimmed down and very centered Misha Barton, Mila Jovovich wearing Elie Saab who did the fashion show, Harvey Weinstien, Georgina Chapman, Kenneth Cole, and super model Chanel Iman.
