Yachts Miami Beach made a splash this year as they lined Collins Avenue with a multi-million dollar presentation of yachts and superyachts throughout the weekend. This year, the show upped the luxury with a special VIP Boat Show package, along with an additional Superyacht Miami location at Island Gardens Deep Harbour on Watson Island to accommodate deep draft vessels up to 500 feet.

Haute Living was the exclusive media sponsor of VIP week, which offered a unique experience that included valet parking, private yacht tours, “Yachts After Dark” invitation-only yacht hop and access to the catered on-site lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach. The 200 VIP cardholders, yacht owners and yacht buyers enjoyed full catering along with sips from Marlee’s Green Tea Whiskey, Notorious Pink Rosé, Fashion Vodka and Spanish Don Bernardino wine from Thursday-Saturday, 12-7 PM. Additionally, guests received access to complimentary water transportation to travel back and forth between the lounge and the Collins Avenue show.

The nighttime festivities kicked off with a “Yachts After Dark” invitation-only yacht hop on Thursday night. The evening began with a welcome reception at the Central Cocktail Barge followed by the exclusive yacht hop along the Collins Ave. lineup. On Friday night, the yacht community and Miami elite celebrated a VIP “Berth-Day” event at Island Gardens Deep Harbour, showcasing a collection of 24 Superyachts, valued in excess of $800 million. The marina is the first in North America able to accommodate yachts up to 550 feet. Saturday evening closed the VIP weekend with the invite-only Super Yacht event, taking place at the renowned Sunset Harbour Yacht Club. Guests admired the extravagant superyachts on display while enjoying delicious food and drinks and the beautiful sounds of Patti Russo, capping off a successful boat show weekend.
