MIA: Inside The Luxe Twin Towers At One River Point

The Miami River has provided many Brickell venues with some of the most stunning views, and it will soon gain a new glimmering building on the north bank. After the completion of One River Point, it’ll be easy to feel like you’re seeing double- Miami’s new twin towers will be soon under way.

Internationally acclaimed architect Rafael Viñoly was brought to the project by developer KAR Properties to design the majestic buildings as impressive as his previous design, known as New York’s most coveted address: 432 Park Avenue.

Howard Lorber, Chairman of Douglas Elliman, hosted a One River Point launch party at Cipriani Downtown. At the event, KAR Properties Founder and CEO Shahab Karmely unveiled development plans to top brokers and distinguished developers for a firsthand look at the transcendent architecture and level of experience that Rafael Viñoly is bringing to the towers of One River Point.

The enticing project, which is set to break ground in the fall of 2016, will bring to Miami twin towers that will stand over 780 feet. To complement the luxe towers, the design will include a sixth-floor amenity deck, an infinity-edge pool, lap pool, poolside cafe and restaurant with butler service, private cabanas, fitness center and med spa.

The 1.8-acre site will have 350 prestige units (prices ranging between $750,000 to $12 million) with ceiling heights reaching 12 feet, private elevator landings and stone flooring. But this price tag gives you more than a unit with bragging rights; it also gives you exclusive access to a more decadent lifestyle. With premium access to the “members only” private club, this is where the elite will rub shoulders and indulge in everything the club offers.

Located in a three-story floating glass sky-bridge that connects the two peaks of the tower, the SkyClub will have a 85-story waterfall, a 10,000 square-foot garden and terrace, two indoor-outdoor restaurants, private and public dining rooms, a craft cocktail bar, cigar lounge, chef’s kitchen, wine cellar, a media room, a library and residents’ lounge and business center with private meeting rooms. Members will also have access to 25 club suites for guests.

Although the amount of private clubs in Miami has recently declined, the SkyClub at One River Point will modernize the way people spend their “leisure time at home.”
