The stylish second floor location is where it all happens here in Boston. Tables with marble, glass and walnut finishes feature iMac working stations, shirting options and accessories with a variety of customization options. “We offer made-to-measure men’s suits,” said Boston Showroom Manager Christopher LeBihan. “You can come in here and pick out everything from the fabric and lapels to the lining and monograms. Every suit here has a modern cut and is made of Australian merino wool.”

What makes Indochino so unique is its fast customized delivery. “We take four measurements here on your first visit and then it goes to our team in Shanghai,” LeBihan said. “It takes four weeks for them to create the suit and then it comes back to us for another fitting. From there, we tailor it for any additional alterations, which can take two weeks. So, the process from start to finish is six weeks.”
If you can’t make it into Boston, you can order up a Tailor’s Kit through the online store to be sent directly to you, which comes complete with swatches and a credit towards your order. They offer a step-by-step guide how to take measurements and within three weeks, your customized suit is delivered direct to you.
Indochino had a pop-up shop here in 2013 and due to its success, they decided to open a full permanent showroom on Newbury Street. Over the past year, they have opened retail stores in Toronto, Vancouver, New York, San Francisco and Philadelphia. Boston is the fourth US location and sixth in North America, and the brand plans to reach ten stores by the end of the year.
