Haute Spots: Cafe Bateel Opens First Flagship Store At JBR

Gourmet food brand Bateel has just opened its very first flagship store at The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence. The store covers 7,000 square feet and is the first Bateel location that combines three of the brand’s elements under a single roof. Shoppers and diners alike will be excited to not only be able to stop in at Café Bateel for a quick bite or even a full meal but also shop at the boutique and pick up some fabulous gourmet pastries at the bakery.

In less than 10 years, Café Bateel has made a name for its casual but chic and sophisticated dining concept and the versatile, unique combination of premium beverages and foods it offers. The brand invokes traditional Arabian hospitality and mixes in its Italian-Umbrian heritage. Bateel boasts only the freshest locally-sourced ingredients in all of its dishes. We’ve included some of the mouth-watering selections from Cafe Bateel’s menu below.

All of the pastries and breads served in Café Bateel are made onsite at the Bateel Bakery, which specializes in artisanal breads. Bateel’s skilled, high-class bakers offer their signature date bread, in addition to traditional French baguettes and the Levain, which is made with yeast-free, organic flour.

Bateel’s luxury boutique offers a wide array of its own branded products, including some fabulous luxury gift ideas, high-end pasta sauces, fine chocolates, and specialty olive oils. The brand pays very close attention to detail, even using its own signature packaging for the items that are available in the boutique. Some of the packages are even handmade wooden boxes, and many of the products that can be purchased are rare, limited edition items.
