Versus Versace Appoints Anthony Vaccarello as Creative Director
Italy is a hot-bed of fashion news these days with the announcement that Donatella is letting go of the reigns of Versus with the permanent appointment of Anthony Vaccarello. Mr. Vacarello, who also designs saucy looks under his own name, debuted a capsule collection for Versus at New York fashion week this past September. Well, he aced the audition and will take on Versace’s sister collection which relaunched 5 years ago. Donatella is said to be thrilled with this “harmonious fit with the brand. His talent screams Versus Versace” she said. He will design under the supervision of Ms. Versace as Artistic Director with his first collection debuting for fall 2015.
