Goldgenie’s 24K Gold Bicycle Makes it Haute To Go Green
Want to turn heads on your next loop around Central Park? Well, this 24K gold road bicycle—adorned with real diamonds—will certainly do the trick. But it’ll cost you. Nearly $379,000, to be exact.
Created by British luxury brand, Goldgenie, the blingy bicycle goes beyond simple flecks of gold. Every inch—from the curved handlebars to the gear chain—has been coated by a lustrous layer of 24K gold, designed to sparkle in the sunlight when ridden.
“This men’s bike is not only a work of art to admire, but also to enjoy riding if you dare and are brave enough to face the stares of astonishment,” explains company director, Frank Fernando. “The set-up and design is that of a high-end racing bike, and while it may not reach the speed of light, the artisans at Goldgenie believe in catching the light as you travel!”
The gleaming gold model comes standard with a soft San Marco black suede saddle and SR4 racing tires, but those customers looking to stand out from the crowd even more can customize their saddle and handlebars using exotic skins and fine leathers.
