10 AM: Enjoy a boozy pre-holiday breakfast at Perricone’s Marketplace & Cafe
Start your Saturday off right with a big, delectable breakfast at Mary Brickell Village’s one and only Italian marketplace, Perricone’s Marketplace & Cafe. Pair never-ending platefuls of homemade omelettes, roasted potatoes, sweet pastries, fresh fruit and fluffy pancakes with pitchers of sangria for a midday meal that promises to satisfy your every craving.

1 PM: Explore the whimsical creations on display at “Chihuly at Fairchild: A Garden of Glass”
Taking place at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, Miami residents and visitors alike can come experience an onsite display that marks the unveiling of the latest works by internationally-acclaimed artist, Chihuly. Known for its grandiose and colorful gardens, Fairchild is the perfect place to showcase Chihuly’s glass art sculptures — which promise to awaken the child in all of us with its bright colors and imaginative shapes.
“Chihuly at Fairchild: A Garden of Glass” is on display at through May 2015 at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Rd. General admission is $25 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and older, $12 for children 6 to 17 and free for Fairchild members and children under 5. 

7:30 PM: Get into the Christmas spirit with “The Nutcracker”
The Christmas season in South Florida is upon us, so why not spend your last Saturday before the Festivus celebrating with one of the world’s most classic holiday events? Head to Downtown Miami’s Adrienne Arsht Center for the Miami City Ballet’s production of George Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker,” and experience the cultural holiday magic before the merriment closes.
The Nutcracker will take place at the Adrienne Arsht Center, 1300 Biscayne Boulevard. Tickets start at $25. 

10 PM: Stop for a handcrafted cocktail at LILT Lounge
The last Saturday of 2014 is no time to go to sleep early. So when the show is over, swing by the EPIC Hotel for LILT Lounge’s signature Lilt Cocktail — a combination of  Uncle Val’s botanical gin, cocchi americano rosa, rose water, Banfi “Rosa Regale” Brachetto, grapefruit peel — or a glass of carefully curated champagne, wine or port. Pair your pick with the hotel chef’s Artisan Cheese Selection or Melon & Jamon plate, and consider yourself satisfied.
LILT Lounge is in the EPIC Hotel, at 270 Biscayne Blvd. Open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 6 PM – 2 AM.
