Weekend in Review: ShowStoppers Opens at Encore
The big news of the weekend in Las Vegas? ShowStoppers, Steve Wynn’s ode to the Broadway hits, replete with 66 performers all on the big stage at Encore Las Vegas. The 72-minute show features no less than 18 songs made famous by their time on Broadway. “Razzle Dazzle,” “All That Jazz” and “Cell Block Tango” from Chicago, “Wilkommen,” “Money Money” and “Caberet” from Caberet and songs from Damn Yankees, Gypsy, Annie Get Your Gun and Hello, Dolly! All lead up to the original choreography from Chorus Line’s “One” and its silver-clad dancers.

Also of note, magician Criss Angel celebrated his birthday at Surrender at Encore Las Vegas.
