Tony Hawk Makes His Debut at the Sayers Club
Former pro-skateboarder Tony Hawk hosted a special edition of Sessions inside The Sayers Club at SLS Las Vegas on Friday night. Arriving at the club around 11 p.m., Hawk was escorted to a VIP booth with a group of friends, where he was greeted by a bottle service presentation. The large group danced to Top 40 hits from Sayers’ resident deejay, and drank specialty cocktails. At around midnight, the Sayers Band took over the stage with the Sessions’ vocalists including Maiyah Sykes from NBC’s “The Voice.” Hawk also made his Sayers debut when he jumped on stage and did a number with the band later in the evening. Following his performance, he joined his group and continued to party until the early morning.
Earlier on Friday, Hawk attended “Absinthe” at Caesars Palace. A returning fan of the show, Hawk hosted his company holiday outing at the 8 p.m. performance. Following the show, Hawk posed for photos with the Gazillionaire, his raucous assistant Penny Pibbets and the “Green Fairy” Melody Sweets, sharing words of enthusiasm for the performance.
