Online Art Gallery Freedom Art Launches in Dubai

New online platform Freedom Art aims to encourage and promote emerging artists in the MENASA region.

Lead by Creative Director Noush Anand, Freedom Art encourages emerging artists by providing them with the resources necessary to advance in their practices. The site, which recently announced an open call for emerging artists internationally and in the MENASA interested in exhibiting their works, functions as a Dubai-based, non-profit online gallery for emerging artists and collectors.

In a region where the art market is presently on the rise due to the growing popularity of buying and selling art, Freedom Art offers art that is affordable allowing art aficionados and budding collectors to start a collection.

In addition to offering a place where people can buy art, the site also guides emerging artists to procure opportunities for funding, apprenticeships, studio availabilities, workshops and residencies and connects artists to the marketing skills that can help them become independent. Freedom Artists are also given options to further their contacts, mastering their portfolio structuring as well as being connected to established professionals for guidance and mentorship.The selection committee comprises a team of experienced curators and rotating roster of interdisciplinary professionals. Freedom Artists are independent and without representation from Freedom Arts.
