Festive Escapade at the Ritz Carlton DIFC
With the holiday season upon us, festive escapades are now in order. We love what the Ritz-Carlton DIFC has in store for Christmas and NYE.
Among the enticing offers is Turkey To Go, an evening inspired by Thanksgiving festivities held from 20 November to 26 December. Guests can order an entire festive meal from The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC, including a selection of delicious appetizers and desserts, and a choice between roast turkey or roast Angus strip loin with all the trimmings. The evening includes appetizers, sides and desserts and its suggested to book in advance.
There’s also the Festive Menu at Center Cut Steak House from 8-30 December from 6:30-11pm, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The meal will feature a four-course, holiday inspired tasting menu, with decadent offerings including scallops with carrot purée and shimeji mushrooms, slow cooked duck breast with chestnuts and cherry bigarade, and warm mince pie with eggnog cream and caramelized pecans. Center Cut will also have the White Christmas Brunch on Christmas Day from 12pm-4pm featuring a lavish Christmas Brunch with an extensive buffet, celebrated outdoors on the terrace or inside for an intimate festive feel. Menu highlights include fresh seafood, sushi and oysters, Wagyu beef, roast turkey, an assortment of international cheeses and a large dessert station, featuring chocolates and festive desserts from our pastry team.
Stumped on where to celebrate Boxing Day, for those who do there’s Café Belge’s Boxing Day Brunch on 26 December from 12:30-4:30pm. Menu favorites include baked Camembert with fig jam, beef chateaubriand, roasted turkey vol-au-vent, and an array of classic European festive desserts. Guests will enjoy lively entertainment from DJ Jay Lieutenant, playing upbeat and contemporary jazz.
To send off the holiday season with a bash, there’s New Year’s Eve. Café Belge is hosting a Masquerade Dinner with seatings from 7:30-11:30pm, midnight toast and a 3am finish. The evening will include a five-course classically Belgian menu, with upbeat music from DJ Jay Lieutenant. Menu highlights include duck consommé, butter poached dover sole and chocolate candied orange cake.
For those desiring a more exotic New Year’s, there’s the Brazilian Fiesta at No. 5 Lounge & Bar outside on the terrace from 8pm until 3am. Entertainment is from the Viva Brazil Samba Show and the music from Break DJ Lobito.
If elegance is your desire, then head to the New Year’s Gala Dinner at Center Cut Steak House with seatings from 7:30pm-11:30pm, midnight toast and a 3am finish. With this option, guests will savor an intimate four-course dinner in Center Cut Steak House, featuring live music from the piano bar and an exquisite set menu, including Saku tuna with edamame cream and caviar, lobster, sweetbreads and Viennese dobush torte.
