More than 1,500 fans lined up throughout The Linq Promenade in Las Vegas on Tuesday for the chance to meet the world’s favorite scowling kitty Grumpy Cat.

Arriving in style, Grumpy Cat pulled up to The Linq Promenade in a stretch limo and walked the red carpet into Kitson for an appearance on her book tour for The Grumpy Guide to Life: Observations from Grumpy Cat, the frowning feline’s second book. After posing for photos with fans, Grumpy Cat escaped the mob of paparazzi and settled comfortably into the life of a Las Vegas high roller, enjoying 360 degree views of the Strip from the comfort of her own private cabin on the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel at 550 feet.

While pets are not typically allowed access to the High Roller, the Caesars Entertainment team granted Grumpy Cat special clearance in an effort to turn her frown upside down.  Ever the professional, there were no sightings of a smile to report, but onlookers say Grumpy Cat did seem very content with her special treatment.
