Haute Event: Krewella Spins at Light Nightclub
Dance music fans enjoyed a special Memorial Weekend performance by DJ super group Krewella at Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay on Friday night. Krew members and sisters Jahan and Yasmine arrived in Vegas for the holiday festivities earlier in the day and conducted a round of media interviews before their big show at Light. The ladies arrived later at the nightclub with the lead singer of Rancid and launched their high-energy set with their hit song “Party Monster.” During their show they sprayed the crowd with champagne and also hit the decks playing a mash up of dance club favorites and club bangers including “Animals,” “ Bugatti,” “I Can’t Stop,” “Wonderwall,” “Live for the Night,” “Enjoy the Ride” and “Satisfaction.” Club-goers also witnessed new choreography by LIGHT’s alluring Cirque du Soleil dancers who performed above the dance floor and throughout the venue. Krewella concluded their set with more crowd favorites including “ We Will Rock You” that had fans singing and stomping along. After Vegas, the Krew heads to NYC for a festival show.
