Haute Event: Jennifer Lopez and More Spotted at Hakkasan

It was a star-studded weekend at Hakkasan at the MGM Grand as A-List celebrities flooded through the doors to enjoy a night out in true Las Vegas fashion. Hollywood’s elite including Jennifer Lopez, Carly Rae Jepsen, The Weeknd and more were all spotted at the five-level complex as they celebrated various events over the weekend.

Last night, Sunday, May 18, the glowing 2014 Icon Award-winner, Jennifer Lopez, treated herself to a night out at Hakkasan Restaurant following the Billboard Music Awards. Joined by her beau, Casper Smart, longtime manager Benny Medina, and Epic Records CEO and Chairman L.A. Reid and wife Erica Reid, the gorgeous star along with several other colleagues took their seats just after 9 p.m., and dined on a number of signature items such as the Vegetarian Steamed Dim Sum Platter and Stir-fry Black Pepper Beef Ribeye with Merlot. The restaurant presented Lopez with a two-tiered custom cake to congratulate the “First Love” performer as Lopez’s entourage reflected on her show-stopping performances earlier in the evening and celebrated her win with a special champagne toast.

Pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen was spotted partying the night away inside the main room of the nightlife mecca Saturday, May 17. Fully enjoying her time, the “Call Me Maybe” singer danced the night away to renowned beats of Hakkasan resident Calvin Harris.  Also in attendance was sultry R&B sensation The Weeknd as he took over the third level of the hot spot for an unforgettable performance. Taking the stage around 2 a.m. the singer had the entire open-format room on their feet as they danced and sang along to his chart-topping hits including “Crew Love” and many more.
