Haute Living spoke with the Retail Manager of ‘the Shop,’ Mr. Keith Harris about experience as the manager of one of Miami’s Hautest, most petite, yet elite spots in the 305.

How long have you been with The Standard?

Since the summer of 2012

A majority of your business is local or tourist based?

Most of my business is generated from my local clientele. We are a hotel, but we have a major local group that come through just because they know what we have. Our selection, it is exclusive, to the point where we only order one of each size. There are only three sizes of each model we recieve: 36,38 an 42.

Do you help with the buying and selection at ‘the Shop?’

The direction is very curated here. We work had in hand with the New York team, and for the moment we are moving toward museum quality items, like Daniel Arsham works.

Also, our magazine selection is quite interesting too. We have quarterly issues you will not find anywhere CR, Another, The Gentlewoman and Another Man.
