Watch of the Week: Hublot Big Bang Jeans
Hot on the heels of its “Jeans” watch for women, Hublot follows up with a Jeans version for men, with a larger, chronograph version in a 44mm case. Genuine dark blue denim (a hot color for men on the fashion runways this season) is put through a complex hardening process and used as a covering on the dial. The strap is also denim, sewn onto black rubber, with orange saddle stitching. The case is micro-blasted ceramic, and the movement is the MHUB4100 self-winding chronograph. Six H-shaped titanium screws secure the bezel, and the crown is black PVD steel with a black rubber insert. Hublot also introduced a new ladies’ version in purple denim, which we got an exclusive look at in Geneva. It is set with 114 diamonds, totaling 1.18 carats. The 41mm watch is a limited edition of 250 pieces.
