YoungArts Foundation celebrated their first year at their new headquarters with the Backyard Ball Gala. The event raised over $1.5 million to support young artists and drew 800 VIPs. Frank Gehry presented the Arison Award to architect Zaha Hadid and Rosie Perez presented one to Latin star Rita Moreno. Andrew Rannells took home the Alumni Award before a breathtaking, full-length performance with ballet, modern dance, poetry, opera and more by the organization’s best. The After Hours Party served up dessert, live music, dancing and a chance to meet the talent.
