Lincoln Road’s Meat Market is Now Open For Lunch (So Reserve for Basel Now!)

I am a very picky eater. For some reason there are only a few reasonable delicious choices on Lincoln Road. This always boggled my mind: So many options on the street, yet not so many acceptable! Ever since its inception, I have always fancied Meat Market for dinner. The ambiance plus the extensive menu equals easy, fresh and just right.

I need to announce that this go-to destination is now open for lunch seven days a week, and just in time for peak season!  Not only are there new hours, but there is a special menu as well. (note to self: Reserve for Basel).

Executive chef/co-owner Sean Brasel and David Tornek tells us “due to popular demand, we’ve decided to open for lunch. We’ll still deliver the same quality, amazing ingredients and stellar service, as well as some lighter lunchtime fare.”

Just know that the dinner menu is solely available for dinner, however, for lunch, Brasel has created a special menu, where he added an appropriate fare including an array of salads and sandwiches ($15-$22) such as the Maryland blue crab burger with key lime cilantro aioli, purple cabbage slaw, and housemade market fries; quinoa avocado salad with dried tomato, goat cheese, pinenuts and arugula; a salmon reuben on garlic bread with Gruyere and honey Dijon aioli, served with mixed greens; and pan roasted Scottish salmon over a kale Caesar salad.

Meat Market is located at 915 Lincoln Road on South Beach and serves lunch daily from Noon – 4pm and dinner from 6pm – midnight.  Bar opens at 5pm daily and Happy Hour is available each Friday, 5pm – 8pm.  Reservations can be made by calling (305) 532-0088.  www.meatmarketmiami.com
