Oceana Bal Harbour is A New Real Estate Project That May Cause A Major Jaw Drop
Just last week in the uber luxurious City of Bal Harbour I attended the groundbreaking of what is said to be the most contemporary yet incredible property to hit the Atlantic: Oceana. Who would have thought this was possible? After all, no one thought it was possible to triumph the St. Regis, One Bal Harbour or the Bellini. Well here is news for you, it is about to happen so I suggest you reserve now, as construction starts this week. Completion is anticipated for the end of 2016.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, the Mayor Jean Rosenfield of Bal Harbour stated that “Developer Eduardo Costantini of Consultatio, an Argentinian-based development company, he is an art aficionado who has a museum in Argentina and the art that will be inside of this building will make Bal Harbour more beautiful, in a building where beauty incorporates nature. It defines who and what we are. Imagine driving through Collins Avenue seeing straight through the building to the ocean.”
Being one of the most important projects of Costantini’s career, this ‘precious stone’ that is about to be cut is a well thought out master plan for a community. Oceana will have two masterpieces by modernist artist Jeff Koons that will be strategically located in the center of the breezeway. The two sculptures will be the first of their kind in the State of Florida.
At the end of the groundbreaking, I approached Mr. Costantini, who spoke to Haute Living about Oceana.
E: What does Oceana contribute that our city does not have?
C: That is difficult to answer from a fundamental perspective. Perhaps it is the Jeff Koons. This is not only important for the village, but pertinent for the art shaping of Miami in the residential communities.
E: Will u be living in Miami during the completion of Oceana or working from home in Argentina?
C: Argentina.
E: When will the sales center open?
C: The sales center will open in the beginning of December but presale is available now.
E: What will the price be per square foot?
C: $1300 to $10,000 USD.
E: Amenities?
C: Yes, a spa and a restaurant. I can not disclose the brand behind the spa yet but it will be great. What is truly amazing is the project it’s self, the exclusivity. It will be family oriented and only there will be only 240 units.
