Chic New Riviera South Beach Features Banksy Bathrooms

Situated steps away from the beach, Miami Beach Convention Center, The Bass Museum and the Miami City Ballet, The Riviera South Beach is in a quiet oasis close to everything.  The tiles are Banksy-inspired and give a little edge in both the bathrooms and as large installations throughout the hotel. The tiles – and the hotel- mark a departure for the South Beach Group Hotels 14th boutique hotel, as it is their first 4-star property, which the group is billing as “Affordable luxury”

The Riviera South Beach features 160 guestrooms and suites and a stylish rooftop deck, infinity pool and bar as well as a secluded ground floor pool area. Suites include silk draperies, hardwood floors, full gourmet kitchens, separate dining areas and sleeper sofas in decor inspired by lavish, mid-century interior designer Dorthy Draper. Touches like Tempurpedic beds, high thread-count sheets, and organic cotton comforters and robes make the experience a plush one.

The hotel restaurant, Moreno’s Cuba, developed by hotel owner Nathan Lieberman and Latin Grammy award-winning Cuban recording artist, Jorge Moreno, features Cuban cuisine that visitors to Miami are always on the hunt for. Emphasis will be on small plates, or Cuban tapas, as well as traditional favorite dishes like Ropa Vieja, Sopa de Frijoles and Bistec Palmilla.

A daily complimentary cocktail hour between 7 and 8 p.m. will bring guests together as only boutique hotels can and other luxury services like grocery deliver and personal chef.
