Candice Swanepoel To Wear $10 Million Jeweled Bra at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Get ready for some serious bling at this year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show! Supermodel Candice Swanepoel will strut down the runway this December wearing a $10 million Royal Fantasy Bra covered in diamonds, sapphires and a 52-carat, pear-shaped ruby.

“I’ve never worn anything this pricey, and we have to put gloves on when we put it on,” the South African beauty told People. “It’s kind of a big deal. The bra comes with two bodyguards and we have to handle it with a lot of care!”

Every year, the Fantasy Bra is the highlight of the star-studded lingerie fashion show. Past models who have donned Fantasy bras include Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen, Tyra Banks and Alessandra Ambrosio.

“They had to mold my body to be able to make [the bra], and I was really excited,” Swanepoel explained. “I tried to imagine after they’d done the mold, how they would make it, how it would look. My imagination didn’t do it justice.”

Despite the high price tag of the bejeweled bra, this isn’t even the most expensive one that Victoria Secret has sent down the runway. In 2000, Bündchen wore a Fantasy Bra made of red satin and Thai rubies worth $15 million.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs December 10.
