Miami’s Most Fashionable Host Neiman Marcus Fashion Show on Trends

Last week Amy Rosenberg, also known as one of the best people in Miami, asked me to host an event at Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour along with power-house hostess committee Ashley Abess, Katya Segovia Abouarab, Allison Weiss Brady, Amanda del Duca, Lauren Foster, Jillian Jacobson, Florencia Jimenez-Marcos and Sarah Mirmelli. Combined, we hosted the Art of Fashion. Over 100 guests filled the Couture Salon of Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour on the second floor, as the fall 2013 trends of the season were presented with a grand introduction by Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour Vice President and General Manager Frances Esquenazi.

The looks included animal magnetism, rocker chic, the classic combination of black & white, and the two hottest colors seen on all the fashion runways, purple and red. Styled by Danny Santiago and David Fittin, the models graced the rectangular shaped runway as 3 over-sized TV monitors flashing the hottest runway images played as a backdrop to the event. The world of high-fashion and art collided as those in attendance received a personalized poem incorporating one of the Neiman Marcus by the duo of poets on hand. Guests enjoyed tantalizing brie tartlets, signature crab cakes, bombay chicken salad served in martini glasses, caprese flat bread, and refreshing cocktails.
