America’s Cup Viewing Party Hosted by Celebrity Cruises
Celebrity Cruises and Forbes Island invited Haute Living to an exclusive champagne luncheon to watch one of the America’s Cup final races between Team Oracle USA and Team Emirates New Zealand on September 8th.
The perfect sunny Sunday afternoon made the quaint and charming Forbes Island an ideal spot to enjoy the America’s Cup race. Guests were shuttled over from Pier 39 to the world’s only floating island to partake in some bubbles and bites.
Surrounded by the spectacular views of the bay and just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the Fisherman’s Wharf, the front row seat to the race truly gave a feeling of being swept away on a mini day-cation.
Guests sipped on bubbly, enjoyed savory small plates and cheered on their favorite America’s Cup team, while capturing snapshots and watching the race unfold.
Featured on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, Forbes Island is a delightful spot to retreat and enjoy a libation and delicious bite. The island is equipped with many unique features such as a rainforest inspired waterfall and a 40-foot lighthouse where guests can take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the Bay Area and San Francisco’s famed skyline.
There are two dining rooms onboard, one enclosed with windows over looking the water and another beneath sea level offering an extra-special nautical experience with oceanic decor and portholes surrounding the room.
Celebrity Cruises has a fleet of 11 magnificent ships that provide luxury travel to destinations in Alaska, Australia/New Zealand, Canada, Europe, and South America. Notorious for supreme service and dining experiences, making them one of the finest and most extravagant ways to travel.
