Little Market Brasserie’s September Melt
You may remember me talking about Little Market Brasserie’s (10 East Delaware Place) new guest chef series “Melt for Meal” that benefits the Meals on Wheels program. If you don’t recall it’s basically a local chef creating a grilled cheese sandwich that will be featured on Little Market’s menu for a month. For the first month, September, Plate Magazine Editor and Meals on Wheels Chicago Board President Chandra Ram is up to bat and she has designed a Southern-style grilled cheese with bacon, pimento cheese, tomatoes and arugula. Goodness, that sounds amazing and I can’t wait for September to taste it. Again, this is for a good cause that I personally support and does a lot for so many people in the Chicago area. The sandwich ($13.50) will be available throughout the entire month of September at Little Market Brasserie. Until then lets all just stare at the picture and fantasize about the moment when we can finally taste it.
