Haute Event: Wale Celebrates His New Album at Ditch Fridays

Rapper Wale, whose brand new album “The Gifted” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, performed poolside at Ditch Fridays at Palms Pool on Friday afternoon.

While posing for photographs on the red carpet, Wale stopped to mention that he had celebrated the success of his new album by working more.

“This is my first time in Vegas since my album dropped and I plan on having a lot of fun,” said the hip hop star.  “I haven’t had time to really celebrate in the traditional sense.”

Wale made his way through the packed dayclub, heading straight to center stage where he performed hits including “Bad,” “Clappers” and “No Hands.”

The crowd went wild when the award-winning artist hopped on the mic to say “I can’t stop staring at all these gorgeous ladies, I feel like such a creep.”
