Haute Event: Chingy Hosts the Night at LAX with a Performance

Rapper Chingy performed at LAX Nightclub located at the Luxor on Saturday night. He arrived at the nightclub just after 1 a.m. and made his way through the packed dance floor to take his spot at his VIP booth on the main stage. Fans shouted as they caught a glimpse of the rapping sensation while they took pictures and chanted his name.

The St. Louis native, sporting a Saint Louis Cardinals snapback and Full Dekk Music Group jersey, got on the mic at 1:30 a.m. “If you’re having a good time right now LAX, say, ‘Yeah.’”

Kicking off his performance, the laidback artist began his hit “I Like That” and the entire club sang along. He then went on to perform some of his most popular songs including “Balla Baby” and “Holidae In.” Chingy slowed it down when he signaled to his deejay to play something for all of the women in the club, segueing into one of his Billboard Hot 100 hits “Pulling Me Back” featuring Tyrese. Performing along with his personal emcee RCBMC, Chingy wanted to take guests all the way back ending with his widely popular single “Right Thurr.” The crowd cheered with excitement as the rapper had them on their feet reciting his lyrics word for word. As his performance came to an end, Chingy thanked his fans telling them to enjoy the rest of their night as he would be doing the same.

The rapper made his way back to his VIP booth, posing for pictures with a few lucky ladies and spent the rest of the evening partying with his entourage.

Also in attendance taking in a bird’s eye view of the performance on the second story of the club was UFC middleweight fighter Tim Kennedy. Just coming off a recent win, the seven-time knockout champion celebrated his official after-fight party with UFC middleweight fighters Andrew Craig and Mark “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” Munoz.
