Haute Event: Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Help Surrender Nightclub Celebrate Three Years

Surrender Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas celebrated the third anniversary of “Surrender Your Wednesdays” on Wednesday night with a performance by one of the hottest new acts in music, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

The duo first dined with friends at Andrea’s sharing shishito peppers, edamame, Gardein chicken shui mai, chicken lettuce cups and Wagyu beef sliders while keeping refreshed with cocktails such as The Aphrodisiac and The Dream.

After dinner, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis made their way into a luxury bungalow, where they posed for photos with a few power-players instrumental in Surrender Nightclub’s success including: Sean Christie, Surrender Nightclub, Encore Beach Club and Andrea’s managing partner; Jonathan Shecter, Wynn Las Vegas director of programming; Zarnaz “Zee” Zandi, Wynn Las Vegas director of nightlife entertainment; Wayne Crane, Surrender Nightclub’s director of marketing; and more.

From the bungalow, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis enjoyed a jaw-dropping aquatics performance by the international cast of “Le Rêve – The Dream,” which featured acrobatics, captivating dancing and signature synchronized swimming choreography.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis then took the stage and gave an electrifying performance of their hits that featured singer Wanz performing with the duo on the smash hit “Thrift Shop.”  The excitement culminated with Macklemore being passed around the 60,000 square foot club in a raft while still on the mic. Moments after her returned to the stage he dove back into the crowd for some traditional crowd surfing.
