It was a wonderful evening in a magnificent home filled with scrumptious nibbles, sips, and special live entertainment – all while celebrating the love of music and the joy of Grammy Camp for kids.

The excitement and festivities for the Grammy Foundation’s Live Music & Grammy Camp Presentation took place in the impressive Presidio Terrace home of John Hamm and Jonanna Rees.

This invite-only event brought the likes of musicians, artists, fans and many San Francisco notables including 99.7 Now! morning radio show host Fernando Ventura, Wilkes Bashford, and socialite and philanthropist Joy Venturini Bianchi.

As guests arrived, they were greeted with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a live performance by up and coming vocalist Elena Pinderhughes, who was later presented with one of the foundation’s prestigious awards for her musical talent and excellence.

The Hamm and Rees residence served as the perfect backdrop for this event; the beautifully decorated, immaculate and spacious rooms allowed guests an opportunity to mingle while enjoying cocktails and small bites. This spectacular home even boasts an intimate theater with an over-sized film screen, fully equipped with comfy plush sofas where guests could relax in a zen oasis.

Later in the evening, there was another exhilarating live performance by the talented, award winning song writer Eoin Harrington. His brilliance filled the house with music and a palpable energy, a charming reminder for those who offered support to such a wonderful cause.

The Grammy Foundation was established in 1989 with the mission of educating and preserving the role that recorded music plays in our society. Opportunities such as the Grammy Camp programs that have allowed this mission to continue to happen.
