Dirty Jeans Worn by Luke Skywalker Sold for $36,100 at Auction
A pair of dirty Levi jeans worn by Mark Hamill, the actor who played “Luke Skywalker” in Star Wars, just sold for $36,100 at auction.
According to the lot listing, the distressed cotton pants were customized by a London costumier and have the phrase “10490 Luke/ Star Wars” etched into the attached tag.
The auction house had estimated that the pants would sell for at least $70,000, so it seems that the lucky winner scored quite the deal.
A pair of Levi’s actor Heath Ledger wore in Brokeback Mountain sold at the same auction for $21,013.
