Designer Alexandre de Betak transformed Tribeca’s Clocktower building into a silver paradise by coating the floor, ceiling and walls with metallic silver foil in celebration of Visionaire 63rd edition entitled “Forever,” reports Elle.

As bits of shredded silver foil swirled around one room, guests like Marisa Tomei and Helena Christensen, posed behind a shadowbox that projected metallic images around the room. Visionaire also worked with CGI artists to transform 2D photographs into 3D reliefs pounded onto embossed metal plates.

Mario Testino sent in his image of Kate Moss for this project first,” Visionaire founder Cecilia Dean said of one of the metal plates. “And the rest…I mean, making an image on a piece of metal and then reproducing it is a real process. We’ve been working on this particular project for at least a year. Maybe next year, we’ll do the opposite—instead of ‘Forever’ we’ll call the issue ’10 Seconds’ and it’ll just be everybody’s Twitter updates.”
