Special Olympics Chicago to Host Sip & Savor
I absolutely love anytime there’s an event that combines good times, good food and a good cause. Such is the case with the Special Olympics Chicago’s annual Sip and Savor event. On Thursday, May 9th from 6-9PM the Associate Board of Special Olympics Chicago will be hosting the event at 1420 S. Michigan. Guests of Sip and Savor will get to enjoy some culinary treats from some of the city’s top chefs, including Ryan Poli of Little Market Brasserie, Michael and Patrick Sheerin of Trenchermen, Chris Pandel of Balena, and recently named Chicago’s 2013 Food & Wine Best New Chef Jason Vincent of Nightwood. Along with the food, drink and dessert pairings there will also be a silent auction and gift bags for each guest. The proceeds from the event will of course benefit the Special Olympics of Chicago. Tickets to Sip and Savor are $55 in advance and $65 at the door, they are available by clicking here.
