Photos: The Celebrities Come Out to Help Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Up Free Cones
Ben & Jerry’s 35th Annual “Free Cone Day,” held on Tuesday at the Scoop Shops located in the District at Green Valley Ranch and Sunset Station was a great success, giving away more than 6,300 free cones. Each year, the Henderson shops enlist the help of local celebrities to scoop ice cream while supporting local children’s charities, and this year, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children raised more than $2,000 over the course of the day’s event at both stores.
The District at Green Valley Ranch Scoop Shop welcomed the star-studded support of Jan Rouven, Master Illusionist, Lady G and Jeff G from Hot 97.5’s Morning Show, Sam Riddle, Whitney and Tiffany from X Burlesque, John and Gavin from Chippendales, The Revolver Girls, BMX pro Ricardo Laguna, Claire Sinclair, star of PIN UP! at the Stratosphere, FANTASY’s Tracey and Mariah, comedic magician Mac King and Jeff Civillico.
Additionally, the District at Green Valley Ranch location featured a DJ, face painting and a balloon artist and welcomed back GAMES2U, a mobile unit featuring a variety of interactive games and activities.
