Haute Event: Amber Ridinger’s $5 Million Wedding Extravaganza
Saturday was a big night for JR and Loren Ridinger. Daughter Amber married Duane McLaughlin in a no-expense-spared $5 million wedding. The young lovers made it legal at Ritz Carlton’s Reserve in Puerto Rico. The bride wore a dress by J’Aton Couture, custom powder blue bottom Louboutins and jewelry by Jacob & Co. The groom honored his grandfather, who was the first African American Navy Seal by wearing his naval uniform. Preston Bailey created a chapel erected completely of pink flowers for a fairy tale feel.
Guests enjoyed music performances by Mary J Blige, Marc Anthony, Maxwell and Fat Joe. An over-the-top menu was served alongside Dom Pérignon followed by a towering wedding cake. The party finally wrapped up at 4:30am when revelers set lanterns into the sea to mark the occasion.
Special guests included Eva Longoria, Khloe Kardashian, Paulina Rubio, Scottie and Larsa Pippen, Marc Anthony and Chloe Green, the daughter of Philip Green, Haute Living’s current Los Angeles cover mogul. Kamal Hotchandani, La La Anthony and Cliff and Mary Floyd were also on hand to join in the festivities.
