Philanthropic actress Angelina Jolie is putting her celebrity-power to good once again by using her eponymous jewelry collection to fund schools for girls in Afghanistan.

Jolie recently told E! News that the first all-girls school she is building in Afganistan, located just outside of Kabul, educates between 200 and 300 students. The funding to build and run the school is provided by Jolie’s ‘Style of Jolie’ jewelry line, a collection of high-end jewelry that was created by the actress along with gem expert, private jeweler and jewelry designer Robert Procop. According to Forbes, Jolie said this school is just one of many girls schools that “will be built and funded through the proceeds from the jewelry collection.”

Style for Jolie pieces are known for their use of statement gemstones that have been cut into a tablet shape, which Jolie and Procop personally designed.

The schools are built through the Education Partnerships for Children of Conflicts, an organization co-founded by Jolie.
