Twitter Co-Founder Jack Dorsey Wants To Run For Mayor Of NYC

Twitter Founder Jack Dorsey may live in San Francisco, but the 36-year-old tech entrepreneur has set his sights on the Big Apple. More specifically, serving as Mayor of the Big Apple.

“What I love about New York is just the electricity I feel right away,” he during an interview with “60 minutes” on Sunday evening. “It’s chaos. It’s kind of like being in a car in the middle of a thunderstorm. Everything is raging around you, but you’re safe inside that car. So New York feels very much to me like that.”

With a net worth of more than $1 billion and a current ranking of number 392 on Forbes’ list of the 400 wealthiest Americans, Dorsey could follow in the footsteps of Mayor Michael Bloomberg as a billionaire-turned-New York politician.
