Malibu’s Three Most Expensive Luxury Home Rentals

If you’re in the market for a luxury home rental in the Malibu area, there are three great contenders to consider. Ranging from $175,000 to $250,000, these properties are the ultimate in luxury summer living.
Beach homes in the Malibu area are a popular choice for those looking to relax and bask in the sun in style. Since many properties in Malibu are used as second residences, owners tend to try and rent them out during peak season. LA Curbed and the Malibu Real Estate Blog have highlighted three such properties that rank as the most expensive luxury home rentals.
The third most expensive rental property is located on Malibu Colony Road and has a lease price of $175,000. According to MLS, the home is a new construction is a classic contemporary home located inside the 24-hour guarded Colony Gates. It sits on a large ocean front lot and has a green yard and beachfront deck. The home includes six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms.
The second most expensive real estate property for lease in Malibu is located at 24434 Malibu Road and is listed at $200,000 per month. Situated on a double lot, the property has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, 180-degree views, a media room, elevator, spa and more. According to MLS, “this spectacular home has an open floor plan with high ceilings and walls of glass.”
The most expensive Malibu rental is located at 23402 Malibu Colony Road and is listed for $250,000 per month. The oceanfront estate is on a rare double lot and was “designed for entertaining and lounging,” according to the listing. The home is “exquisitely furnished” with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The home also includes an open patio with spa, outdoor kitchen with BBQ, a bar and fire pit, a gourmet kitchen with hardwood floors, an oceanfront master with office, and a detached two-room guest suite.
