Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David has listed his Pacific Palisades estate for $15 million. Featuring seven bedrooms and 10 baths, the rare and large property includes spectacular ocean, coastline and canyon views.
Described as a “fairytale home,” the approximately 10,000-square-foot estate is situated behind gates and up a path, according to the listing. The large home includes seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a backyard pool surrounded by lush green grass, an office, gym, playroom, and a master suite with a large deck. There is also a separate guesthouse with a fireplace.
According to Real Estalker, David purchased the first lot of the home with his ex-wife Laurie in 1993 and the second and third lots were purchased in 1996 and 1999 respectively. The now multi-wing main house was originally built in the 1950s and includes “interiors spaces [that] are decidedly traditional with medium brown wood floors, rustic wood beamed ceilings and chunky support posts, diamond paned leaded glass windows, lots of custom mill work including an all wood staircase,” and more.
The entertainment rooms, including the main living room, sitting areas and a formal dining room, have been incorporated into an open concept plan and spread into the family room and kitchen area. On the second floor, the master suite is located with “exposed wood beams on the ceiling, a sitting area with built-in bookshelves and white brick corner fireplace.” There is also a spacious private terrace with stunning views and two large dressing suites and bathrooms. The adjacent sitting room has a vaulted ceiling and mounted TVs.
The guesthouse “resembles an English thatched cottage” and includes a stone terrace, an outdoor living room/lounge, kitchen/bar and a fireplace.
