Discovery Dinner Party Series Round 2
Following the success of their inauguaral Discovery Dinner Party, Michelin Bib Gourmand Award-winning Storefront Company (1941 West North Avenue) has announced the next event in the series. The theme for the series is interactive dining and it brings out top experts in food, wine and spirits. The last event was with Master Sommeliers Ken Fredrickson, Doug Marello, and Fernando Beteta of Tenzing Wine & Sprites, and guests got to eat and converse about all things wine. This time around Chef/Partner Bryan Moscatello will be welcoming Steve Pinnow of Pinn-Oak Ridge Farms.
Pinn-Oak Farms product has been featured on the Storefront Menu since the beginning, providing the seasonal lamb, which includes the company’s famed Lamb Meatballs. Prior to the event, which will be held on Tuesday, February 19th at 6:30 p.m., Chef Moscatello will travel to Pinn-Oak to hand select a lamb for the dinner. It will be broken down as a part of Storefront Company’s in-house butchery program and used for the five-course dinner that will be served at the event. This is your chance to come and dine with the Pinnow and Moscatello and have an open dialogue about all things farm and food. Tickets are $79 per person (including wine pairings) and must be reserved by calling 773-661-2609. The menu for the evening will include:
Shank/ consommé – blooms
Neck/ ravioli – chervil – lamb chopper
Belly/ salad – sorbet – red onion – fresno
Back Strap/ licorice – anise – blood orange
Milk/ chocolate – olive oil – beets
