Andy Samberg Is Engaged to Singer Joanna Newsom

Comedian Andy Samberg just popped the question to his girlfriend of five years, Joanna Newsom. Though the couple has tried to keep their relationship out of the public eye, a pal recently told Us Weekly that Samberg has had a crush on Newsom since day one.

“[Samberg] liked her music and would go to her shows,” a pal told the publication. “He had the biggest crush on her.”

And it seems that Newsom is just as smitten with her future groom. “She respects what he does with his songs,” added the friend. “She’s so proud of everything that he has accomplished.”
