Stella McCartney Named in Queen Elizabeth’s New Year Honors List
Fashion designer Stella McCartney has been named to Queen Elizabeth’s New Year Honors List for 2013. The annual list is published in recognition of the service and achievements of extraordinary people in the United Kingdom, and this year included a Special Honors List to recognize the Olympians, Paralympians and the most successful coaches. McCartney designed the uniforms worn by team Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics and also received the United Kingdom’s Designer of the Year award.
