High Line Is Most Popular Date Spot in NYC
A romantic stroll down Manhattan’s High Line is the number one date spot for New Yorkers, according to a new study by a dating site. HowAboutWe.com analyzed over one million date suggestions between January 2010 and September 2012 and found that most Big Apple singles prefer to woo perspective love interests at the urban park, rather than a fancy restaurant or chic cocktail lounge.
Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art came in at number two and three, respectively, in the site’s list of best NYC date spots. “They’re all great venues,” the site’s spokesperson, Ariana Anthony, told the New York Daily News. “I can’t say I’m surprised that New Yorkers love beautiful parks.”
