Chicago Bulls Host Party For Local Children

Last month the Bulls teamed up with the USO and held a party at the Berto Center for 65 children who either lost a parent in Iraq or Afghanistan or have a parent currently deployed. Along with those 65, there were also 35 Chicago Housing Authority All-Stars who were invited because of their school attendance, grades and an essay.

The Bulls were hosting the event as part of the NBA Cares initiative and they all came out to spend time with the kids. All of the children received a gift specially donated by Bulls Guard Nate Robinson. Coach Tom Thibodeau and Gar and Leslie Forman joined players Joakim Noah, Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer, Marcus Teague, Jimmy Butler, Luol Deng and more. There was also an appearance fan favorite, Benny the Bull. The children were served lunch and had fun with the players all afternoon, just another example of how the Chicago Bulls and the whole NBA Cares.
