Four Seasons Host Sweet Home Chicago Brunch
Since it is the holidays, there is nothing better to see than events centered on the spirit of the season. The Four Seasons Chicago (120 E. Delaware) recently hosted the ninth annual Sweet Home Chicago Holiday Brunch. With nearly half of the almost 500 guests under the age of 10 it was a family filled event full of cheer and love. Grandparents, parents and children alike enjoyed building gingerbread houses and getting the opportunity to meet with Santa. But the single most important reason for the event and why they came out was to support and raise money for WINGS. WINGS is βan organization that provides women and children of domestic violence a safe haven to get back on their feet.β Honorary co-chairs Tom and CeCe Ricketts along with several of their like-minded friends raised over $600,000, a record-setting number for the event. Good tides, good cheer and good philanthropic efforts all add to a great holiday season.
