Ghirardelli Opens New Flagship Store in San Francisco

Chocolate lovers rejoice, just in time for the holiday season Ghirardelli has opened a new flagship store in San Francisco and have announced that a factory outlet will open on November 7 in the new Paragon Livermore Outlets.
The new flagship location is located at 2 Montgomery Street and, according to Mercury News, it features a classic, old-fashioned soda fountain experience, bar stools facing Market and New Montgomery streets, hot fudge sundaes, shakes, floats and cones. There is also a retail side including chocolate bars and other Ghirardelli items. The store is located near the Sheraton Palace Hotel.
Other San Francisco locations of Ghirardelli include at the Ghirardelli Square (Original Chocolate Manufactory, Chocolate Marketplace, On-the-Go and Caffe), Union Square (shop only) and Westfield San Francisco Centre.
The factory outlet at Paragon Livermore Outlets will open on November 7 and Ghirardelli is celebrating its 160th anniversary this year.
According to their website, Ghirardelli Chocolate Company was incorporated in 1852 and is one of the few companies in the U.S. that controls the entire chocolate manufacturing process, from cocoa bean to finished process.
