The Chicago House will be hosting their 4th annual Speaker Series Luncheon tomorrow (11/2) at the Chicago Hilton’s International Ballroom (720 S Michigan). The Chicago House is a Midwest organization that offers support and housing for people affected by HIV and Aids. This year’s keynote speaker for the luncheon is fashion designer Kenneth Cole. Cole has been outspoken in his support of AIDS-related causes and will hopefully be a big help in raising awareness and funds for the organization. The luncheon features a three-course lunch, meet and greet, and a Q & A session with the designer. Tickets are between $150 and $500, to purchase tickets or for more information visit Chicagohouse.org or call Beth Connor at (773) 248-5200.

I think it’s amazing when people take time to address real causes and the Chicago House CEO Stan Sloan along with co-chairmen Todd Hamilton and Susanna Negovan should be applauded for their efforts. There are tons of events like this happening in Chicago and I will keep Haute Living Chicago readers up to date on the happenings of the philanthropically engaging side of Chicago.
