Haute Scene : Piaget Presents Arbitrage
Susan Sarandon, Richard Gere and Brit Marling stepped out in style for the September 20 Lincoln Center premiere of Arbitrage presented by luxury watchmaker Piaget and the Wall Street Journal. Nicholas Jarecki’s debut feature tells the taut story of Robert Miller (Gere), a scheming Manhattan hedge fund manager whose crooked career verges on collapse during its twilight. Oscar buzz, much of it focused on Gere, has already started to percolate. Other guests of note included Gere’s wife Carey Lowell, Zac Efron, Chris Noth, Al Roker, co-star Laetitia Casta and cameo maker Graydon Carter.
Piaget, whose cinematic contributions extend to being the main sponsor of the Independent Spirit Award, co-hosted the post-screening party at Carter’s Monkey Bar.
