Luxury brand Bulgari has announced that their fourth property will open in 2015 in Shanghai. The 120-room hotel will be located on the top twelve floors of a 40-story building designed by Foster + Partners in the historic Zhabei District.

The interior of the hotel will be designed for Bulgari by the renowned architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners. Featuring high-end amenities, the hotel will juxtapose ancient and modern architectural themes in a reflection of the prestigious Suhe Creek surroundings, called “Gold Strand of Shanghai”, which is home to a flourishing art scene. The hotel will include a ballroom, a spa, a rooftop Italian restaurant and a Chinese fine dining restaurant in the former Chinese Chamber of Commerce building.

Bulgari opened their most recent property in London in June with rooms going for approximately $680 per night.

Bulgari also plans to open properties in Rome, Paris, New York, Miami and Southern California.

As we reported back in 2011, this is all part of Bulgari’s grand master plan, with future hotels on the agenda for Rome, Paris, New York, Miami and SoCal.
